Successful completion of Professional Scrum Product Owner Training

Scrum.org Professional Scrum Product Owner Training (PSPO), organized on August 21-23 2014 was attended by 25 participants from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Croatia and Turkey. Attendants had a chance to explore the subjects of Value Driven Development, Product Management, Managing Requirements, Planning Releases, Lean Planning and Managing products. The PSPO training was complemented by two other events, the Sarajevo Film Festival and a rafting team building exercise. Thanks to our attractive agenda, trainer and complementary events it doesn't come as a surprise that the event was sold out 6 weeks ahead. Bosnia Agile will continue working on providing world-class events like this one in the near future. Agile Mostar Meetup held successfully

Agile Mostar Meetup, organized on August 1st 2014 in cooperation with NSoft and Intera Technology Park, was attended by 45 employees of software development companies and computer science students from the Herzegovina region. Attendants had a chance to learn concepts of Scrum Product Ownership and Lean as well as to learn on benefits and some obstacles when practicing Scrum under Bosnia and Herzegovina's market conditions. We thank Intera Technology Park on excellent logistics and all attendees on their engaged participation! Certified Disciplined Agile Delivery (DAD) training

Bosnia Agile and Scott Ambler + Associates are delivering world known DISCIPLINED AGILE DELIVERY (DA 104) training in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina on October 28.-29. 2014. This two day workshop is not technical and is suitable for all team members. Many group exercises reinforce the principles learned. The workshop is also valuable for management tasked with moving from traditional approaches to agile.

Disciplined Agile Delivery (DAD) is an IT process decision framework for delivering sophisticated agile solutions in the enterprise. It builds on the existing proven practices from agile methods such as Scrum, Extreme Programming (XP), Lean software development, Unified Process, and Agile Modeling to include other aspects necessary for success in the enterprise. DAD fills in the gaps left by mainstream methods by providing guidance on how to effectively plan and kickstart complex projects as well as how to apply a full lifecycle approach, with lightweight milestones, effective metrics, and agile governance.

Designing and developing products with Scrum lecture on EBEC Engineers’ day 2014 in Mostar

EBEC (European BEST Engineering Competiton) Engineers’ day is a project orgnized by BEST (Board of European Students of Technology) technical club of „Dzemal Bijedic“ University in Mostar. The event, organized this year on April 15th and 16th, gathered a number of students of technical sciences from the city of Mostar, which participated in local competition for young engineers, student job fair and trainings which were held in INTERA Technology park. Bosnia Agile trainer Kemal Bajramovic held a successful 1.5 hour lecture on designing and developing products with Scrum. Some 50 students of IT and mechanical engineering attended this lecture.
