Agile methods has significantly improved software projects management, especially Scrum has been established as a leading framework. Some elements of Kanban are often used to support Scrum process, which led to a misunderstanding that  Kanban is not, in fact, an independent approach to process management which is significantly different from Scrum. This lecture will explain the basics of Kanban, management and metrics, as well as basic differences between Scrum and Kanban.
